What cards should I app for?

Recently paid off all CCs and installment loans. DH and I have a mortgage, 2 car loans, 1 installment (credit union) and 2 CC with balances, CU Master Card and Amex . The MC has 40 percent UT ( could pay it down to 10 percent by December). We pay Amex PIF each month. We each have over 25 year credit history. Scores for me are all mid 700s, his are 630 to 650 (had one med collection, just PIF today). All cards have not reported yet...should be updated by mid month. We want at least 2 more cards with high CL, which cards do you think we should app for. Also, I applied to NFCU and was granted membership. My income will be over 90,000 and his will be a little over that. We want cards with low APRs.

EQ is 729, EX is 738, TU is 715 for me. His EQ is 650 and TU is 637 don't know his EX...waiting to pull is mid month when the other accounts report PIF. We were thinking to SD or close some of his low CL cards. All of my store cards have mid to high CL.

Just got approved at NFCU. Have not app for any cards with them yet. I also want to app for the Duck or Beaver card. High income, 2 INQs this year maybe 3 with navy membership just approved. Scores at all CB are over 700. I have 1 MC/16,500 CL and 1 Wells Fargo MC 5000 CL. The rest are store cards with 2400 to 8000 CLs. All advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info I don't want to mess this up. I was thinking to app for the Duck or Beaver card also. I will take your advice and go NFCU first. Thanks for replying.

Approved for the Platinum MC 25000. App again for Visa got the 3 to 5 day message.
