Closed account not on FAKO sites?

How accurate are sites like creditsesame or creditkarma as far as showing accounts that are actually on your report?

I closed my Discover card & now it's not on either site. Does that mean it's not on my real reports? Or that it should be on my real reports but these sites drop them?

Anyone with any experience won't be checking my real reoprts for a bit yet.

I don't have any experience, However... I have a store card for a while, They switched backers and that updated on my credit karma.

It shows as an account closed, But I've never closed an account before... It also doesn't report it either. It only reports the new one, But it does show as account closed (In the # of accounts part) I'm pretty sure it only shows active accounts.

Those sites are useful for inq's and sometimes bal changes only IMO. To answer your question, CS nor CK do not show my closed accounts and they are on my actual reports.

I believe that it has been said on this site that sites like these don't include closed accounts into your aaoa...Therefore your aaoa will always show lower than what is actually on your credit report unless you don't have any credit at all.

My Credit Karma shows that I have 9 accounts under the Total Accounts section, 6 open and 3 closed. But for AAOA it only counts the open. And it doesn't list the closed accounts anywhere, unlike the open ones. So it seems that it counts them for the Total Accounts grade but not in any other way.

And by the way, they graded me a D for only having 9 accounts, lol. To get an A I'd have to have 22+ which seems crazy.

Ok thanks everyone. Seems really senseless imo. But at least I know the account should be on my real reports. I kind of thought that because those sites don't show my paid off car loan but I didn't know if it worked differently.
