    <description>&lt;P&gt;Bit perplexed ...&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Been an Amazon cardholder since 12/12. &amp;nbsp;Not great credit, approved for an $800 limit (Store card). &amp;nbsp;Regular card-user, PIF every month. &amp;nbsp;Been working dilligently on improving credit for past 12 months. &amp;nbsp;Scores across the board 40+ points improved. &amp;nbsp;Called GECRB automated system to request CLI to $1500. &amp;nbsp;Declined. &amp;nbsp;Received their denial letter of mail with my score (higher than I expected - 677) and one of the reasons for a decline of CLI was too many inquiries and too many recent accounts. &amp;nbsp;My only HP in the last two years was ... Amazon, last year. &amp;nbsp;My only new account in the last two years was also Amazon. &amp;nbsp;I'm currently working through rehabbing a student loan and disputing a b.s collection that recently popped up across 3 CRAs a couple of months ago so would it be worth calling the backdoor # to credit analysis to discuss in person or just let sleeping dogs lie and wipe these negatives off my record before I try this again?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Online and automated and regular customer service use a credit report in system up to 90 days old and a computer system to decision the request.&lt;BR /&gt;Credit solutions will pull (sp) a credit report on spot and manually look at it and decision the request... Remember they will always counter but they rarely offer more than what you ask for. So I always suggest something crazy, like your highest limit pray be even more depending... (10k, 15k+)</description>
