Amex interest rate Decrease

Hey i want to decrease my amex interest rate and need some tips. Opened my card in january of this year and got a $2k limit at 0 intro and 19.99% rate. Thanks to this forum after 61 days i raised limit to $6k, than $18k 6 months after that (just recently). I have always paid in full every month. My credit score is around 750. I just recently purchased a property, but have no other outstanding balances on accounts.

How many % can i drop? And whats the best way to do it. I plan on paying in full every month, but want lower rates just in case i need to use the card without paying in full

Any help is appreciated.

You can ask but Amex is not big on dropping APR esp on a new cardmember. Either go through live chat or call the number on the back of your card.

Depending on your profile and other internal AMEX factors, the earliest they can consider such elegibility is after 12 months from account opening. The APR reduction (or spread) will vary depending on various factors during such review.
