Amex 61 CLI Decline

HEy ALL!! Quick ? for the experts. I thought today was 61 days but based on the letter I guess it is not. Should I wait a few more days and try again or want 60 days.

I opened the Delta Amex Sept 17 and today is Nov 18. Not sure what happened. Any opinions.

Based on your dates, it should have been Nov 17. Are you sure that was the day your account was created or the date you were approved?

Here is the bad news, possibly, since you went for a CLI you now might have to wait 90 until you can ask again. I tired to get my limit increased after 61 days and was declined. I don't remember the reason, but since I tried I have to wait until 90 days have passed to try again. You might also.

Okay I spoke with another rep and they said my open date was Sept 24, 2013. So should I try again on Nov 25? Thanks everyone.

Pulling the trigger early will not reset when you can appy for it. A decline will though for 90 days. Just wait until the correct date and go for it!

Yes, looks like you put the saddle on the horse a bit lose and too early. Wait until around the 25-26th and give it another shot.

No I did mine after the 61 days. I think I was declined because I had only used the card once.
