CSP 55k Offer?

Anyone else seeing that they've changed the offer to 50k points after a $3,000 spend in the first 3 months and another 5k points with first purchase and adding AU. The catch seems to be a $125 annual fee (instead of the previous $95) with the first year waived. Thoughts?

can you please post a link to the deal?? I only see something about an AU purchase for 5k, nothing about a 50k point bonus.

Just added my wife as an AU on my CSP, hopefully they respond to my SM, and say that my AU is eligable for the 5k bonus point

Maybe a typo? With the new AU bonus it brings it up to 45k.

sent a secure message for those 50k and 5k AU bonus points. hopefully they say yes just like the Freedom, but the raise in AF has me worried some, could be a way for them to say nope sorry we wont honor it.

Well, let's see but I can certainly see them denying it. This differs from the Freedom case because:

a) The offer comes from a special link, for Freedom it is the public offer that has been updated

b) The offer terms are different. It's possible that they will give you the extra points with the extra AF (although waived for the first year).

This is like several issuers who have a range of offers that differ in cashback, APR, 0% intro period etc, you cannot pick and choose the best bits of each!

Oh, don't see an issue with them honoring the AU stuff on that. I meant the 50K without increasing the AF.

I just applied for the CSP for my wife using this 55K points offer. Does anyone know how long the card must be open before we can downgrade it to a Freedom (or something else) to avoid the annual fee?

The 3 Freedoms are in my name, so I figure one in hers could make sense. I don't think we need CSP's in both of our names with the annual fees so downgrading to a Freedom would save us paying the annual fee while still reaping the benefits of the sign-up bonus. Do you think there is another option I should consider?
