How often does GE soft pull update?

Back in October I tried the luv button for my amazon card, was turned down, and when I received notice in the mail, I read that my score from them was obtained three weeks prior on 10/3. This was before my paid off first premier cards hit my report and before my big payments/clis on my other accounts reported, so my score had gone up but they didn't "know it yet". So I waited until last week, and called the backdoor number for GE and asked again for clis for both amazon and walmart. I explained what had happened before about the outdated score and was told that since they were doing a manual review, the information they used would be current. Denied again with no explanation other than I would get a letter!

So today I receive the letter for my walmart request, and low and behold the score it shows is from 10/3!!! Despite them saying it would be current!!!

Anyway, does anyone know how often GE updates their soft pulls? Since apparently their underwriters can't even do it, I'd like to figure out when they might update it so I know when to try again. Thanks!

When I requested a CLI increase with my Amazon store card their last SP was from September 19, which was 70 pts less than my score now. Quick phone call rectified their concerns, though.

That's what ticked me off though was that when I called, I explained the updated score and they said it would be current. Would it be worth calling again this soon?

The word "current" may mean something quite different to CCC than it means to us. In their procedures, perhaps CR SP within a month or so of the CLI request may be seen as "current." It's like the transit system here in NYC...an 8-minute delay is still recorded in their system as "on-time."

Whenever I call Credit Solutions, they pull my credit while I'm on the phone. What number are you calling?

Call credit solutions it's in the back door numbers under GECRB if you haven't already. People have better luck.

Exactly, for some lenders current would mean, the last current update - not necessarily today. For others, it could mean today, like right this bery instant SP or HP. Of course, "current" is still relative interms of CRA data as they may not have the most updated or "current" information when the lender does the pull. It seems in GECRB's scenario that the date provided was the most current to them.

Well, of course they would do this for you Lexie! (It pays to have that number programmed on that iPhone) - you're incahoots with them! I bet if it wasn't for the distance, you'd be having cookouts with them nice Credit Soultions fellars

Afaik it was Credit Solutions that I called, using the number from the backdoor list: GECRB Credit Solutions 877-379-8173.

And that's what I assumed was it would be updated while he did the review, but apparently no go

Credit Solutions typically does a fresh pull. Isn't there a unique Wally phone number, though?

Just called again, explaining in detail how the information used was almost 2 months old and that I would like an updated score used. Denied, and when I asked if this was based on the old score or if they had updated it, was told "we cannot disclose that information over the phone".

My understanding is that they soft pull every four months.

My PPSC through GE pulled on 4/4/13 and again on 8/4/13.

Called in late September asking for CLI and was denied. Letter said score pulled from TU on 8/4/13 was 620-ish (on here at that time it was in the 690's). I'm planning on trying for a CLI again next week, assuming they will pull another score in December that shows my higher TU score.
