Amex SP's don't show up immediately?

I've been wanting to ask for a 3x CLI on my Amex so I've been watching my experian for SP's. I've noticed something strange, the SP's don't show up until 2 weeks to a month after they are pulled. For example, I've been checking every couple of days this month and nothing then today suddenly, it shows they SP'd me Nov 14th. Last month, the SP didn't show up until almost 45 days after they pulled me. Anyone else experience this?

I didnt notice that. I always assumed amex would use the last SP you had so I always waited unitl they sofpulled a month I know was good. But if youve had good history with them already then I wouldnt even wait. I had minimal history with amex when I asked for a 3x cli on my blue cash and was denied. I did it recently and I know since then my softpulls dont look picture perfect because I have not at all tried to make my reports look good. , and it was instantly approved.

nope.

mine seems to be up to date.

Last SP Amex and Chase did on me was Nov 30. I had a new account reporting though so that may be it.

I've noticed the same. Been checking and bam 2 days ago there they were Oct 30th. It took almost 30 days to show up

I may have stumbled upon this as well. I have day 61 this wednesday so I have been periodically checking my EX and I have had not one soft inquiry from Amex since my initial HP. I will check again this wednesday before I request my CLI but I found it odd that I had not even one SP since my account was opened. Maybe they'll show up this week...

I have found that they soft pull me on the day after my statement date with them YMMV.

So there's no way that they can be retroactively pulling older reports right? So it is safe to assume that there is just, for some reason, a delay in the pulls showing up on the report?

For me they usually sp around my charge card statement date. It shows up about 4-5 business days later.

If you pull your Experian report you have access to it for 90 days and if you just view the report again with the same report number it will pull a brand new report every time and you can see your updated soft pulls.

Soft pulls are not always real time. They merge with the primary database sometime later.

@beane where do you buy it from experian directly or here at my Fico? I have the unlimited daily reports with them. And i can see my inqs but not my sps...

I apped for the delta on nov 5th and got denied with a sp from sept 15... im ready to app again on dec 5th... hoping they will have a better internal score of me so they can hp. My score is way better now.

I requested my free credit reports through the annualcreditreport.com website for all 3 bureaus back in September and that's how I got my number. I believe you can pull the report from the experian site, but I've never tried that. Soft pulls are listed under "requests for credit information only you can see" on my report.

This is strange. So they didn't SP you again the next month on Oct 15 or at the end of the month Oct 30th? Either that or they sometimes use old SP's?
