Too soon to ask? CLI Question - AMAZON GE Card

Hi all - just wondering if it's too soon to call GECRB and ask for a CLI on my amazon card

08/13 - Opened Amazon store card - $400 limit

10/13 - Increased to $600 by using the "Request an increase link"

Considering calling and asking for another increase.... too soon?

I just tried it after 3 months/2 statements showing....went from $700 to $1000. I'll take it.

I always though the rule for GE cards was you could ask every 4 months but I may actually be wrong about that.

No not a hard rule some have been sooner but in most cases yes that's the general rule of course like in your case YMMV

Ah man....shoulda tried sooner! Didn't realize its ALWAYS a soft pull...woulda just tried after every statment so far....maybe?

As in the amount they approved me for initially really wasnt their true ceiling for me at the time?

I did the online CLI love button so it didnt really give me a chance to request an amount...

It's a SP but be aware that they are selling that division for a stock IPO so you don't want to rock that boat to hard//poke the bear if you know what I mean Lol

Just tonight I hit the LUV button actually! I think i posted earlier but might of been another thread... went from $700 -> $1000 which isnt much but not gonna say no!

I believe my 4th statement cuts tomorrow...does that count as another statement cutting (and therefore another CLI opprotunity? lol)
