    <description>&lt;P&gt;So, I applied for an AMEX preimier Gold card, and they sent me the regular Gold card. &amp;nbsp;The premier has a promo going for 25k points if you charge 2k within three months. &amp;nbsp;I called AMEX and they literraly transferred me from rep to rep, and 57 minutes later I was asked to call back in 20 min cause they are all busy. &amp;nbsp;They said:&lt;BR /&gt;1) They cant PC me cause the account is too new&lt;BR /&gt;2) I can get the Premier Gold card, but I wont be eligible for the 25K sign on bonus, since I am already a Gold Card member (This is the card THEY sent me on accident).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don't know what to tell them, has anyone in here been through something like this before?? &amp;nbsp;Oh, and to top it off, it even shows on their end that I applied for the Premier card, and got sent the wrong card!! &amp;nbsp;Ugh!! &amp;nbsp;Recommended move anyone??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Call em up and get someone from management on the phone. You need to get above the typical CSR level because I doubt they can do anything for you. It sounds like a genuine screw-up, and it takes someone with freedom of motion to resolve something like this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm sorry for the negative experience with AmEx.&amp;nbsp;&lt;img id="smileymad" class="emoticon emoticon-smileymad" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif" alt="Smiley Mad" title="Smiley Mad" /&gt; I've never heard of them making a mistake like this before. O_o Anything is possible though.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
