Amex Purchase Protection Process

I purchased an Xbox One on my Amex PRG through Best Buy and last night I was at work and my GF was cooking and my little girl accidentally spilled juice on it and now the console will power on but will not read any games or go past the Xbox logo screen. I do not want to take it back to Best Buy because all they are going to say is you should of bought the extended warranty. Yeah right at 244.00 dollars

Anyone have experience with Purchase Protection for a situation like this the console was just released and is 500.00 and I opened PRG in 11/1/13

They turned around my claim in 2 hours. Usually if the thing is under $300 they don't even ask for docs.

I also have to add it was easy for me to do. I bought something for around $60 at an online store, and they wouldn't accept returns. I filed a return protection claim and I had a statement credit within 2 days. It was all very easy. I love my Amex!

Yes, It was really easy, I bought iPhone 5s for my friend and she cracked screen,

Claimed it through online, and wallah! after a week whole money I paid for iPhone was credited back! no quesitons asked
