Applying for Several CC's on the same day

How long before a credit inquiry hits your credit report? Say if I wait a while so that there are no recent inquiries on my report, then one day call 3-4 credit card companies back to back and apply for new cars, will the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cc companies i call just see that I've had few inquiries in the past without knowing of the inquiries within the same few hour span?

Yes they will see them unless they're on different CB's which is what I recommend when doing spree's
(spread them over CB's)

Its pretty quick. Within a hour at the most for the Inquiry to show.

The best way to keep them from seeing each other is app at places you know will pull from different CRAS.

For example lets say you make 4 application in the following order:

Lender 1 ->pulls EX

Lender 2 -> pulls EX and EQ both

Lender 3 -> pulls EX

Lender 4 -> Pulls TU

If you app in that order, Lender 2 will see Lender 1s Inq.

Lender 3 will see the 2 Inquiries from Lender 1 and 2.

Lender 4 will not see any new Inquiries

So its certainly best to avoid multiple pulls from same CRA.

+1...inquiries hit reports just as fast as you can hit submit
