Max limit on Macys Store card?

I currently have a 5K limit on my Macys store card. I was wondeing how high the limit can go.

Also I have spent enough in the last 6 months to qualify for the Elite card but they have never sent me a new card. Are there any benefits to having the higher tier store card?

1. I use to have $10,700 personally but I have seen a post on here with as high as $27k .

2. Usually the rewards are the benifit of higher card tier... I would call and ask for the new card to be issued... can be quite a pain sometimes.

DSNB may likely have a threshold but not sure what that is... yet. My Macy's Preferred is currently $15K and Bloomingdale's Reserve is $17K which doesn't even count my Preferred/Reserve AMEX's for each, that's just store only.
