I just used my Hooters card for the first time at a Hooters last week in Dallas. My Hooters (Anchorage), closed before I got the card. It wasn't as magical as I remember when I was 18 and googly eyed at the girls. Food and service was better than expected, though.

which score do they pull and what is the average score for getting approved?? i just got the BOA 99/500 but when my score starts to go up a little, maybe i could get this one.

They always pull TU. I got mine with a score of 595, 3K CL , 28% , and $72 AF . YMMV

It is my opinion that income plays more of a factor than anything. By no right would I have obtained such a limit without a good income. Some with higher scores have a lower CL and lower income. I think there is a direct correlation. Maybe someday I will plot it in excel to prove my point. Also, it seems common that you need at least 2 positve TL's to be approved.

I got mine with a score of like 650, if I remember correctly, received a 6.5k CL and 17% interest, no AF. I had two revolving accounts reporting at the time, if I remember correctly. I have a decent income but not one that I would consider great. It really helped me to get my credit established.

I only use it occasionally for online purchases or where I can conceal the front of the card. I don't want other customers to get the wrong idea...I have a pair of my own and those of others certainly doesn't interest me.
