Chase Email offering CLI

Has anyone ever been offer a cli through Chase e-mail free of a HP?? I always thought it was 100% a Hard Pull. And why send an E-mail??? Can't they just do an Auto-CLI?

Funny thing is, I cancelled my Marriott Credit Card, got an increase over the the phone and moved the limit over to my Freedom before recieving this email.

Nope I have never recieved such a email and wouldnt go for it either cause i am betting ounce you hit that request it will Hard Pull your credit report. Not 100% sure but i am betting that it is a HP. But being you closed that account anyways im guessing its to late to take advantage of that. I would imagine if it was going to be HP free it would have just been a auto increase for you like you was saying. Doesnt make since why they would email you instead of just giving you a auto.

This is different from a CSR saying it won't be a hard pull, which certainly can't be trusted in all cases. The email specifically says no credit check, so you would have a good case to force them to remove a HP if it appeared.

Correct - I have received these on a couple occassions in the past, they will not result in HP. They are based on SPs since these are targeted and prequalified CLIs for a number of customers.

I keep my friends CLI schedule in my phone calendar!! i was actually just texting with my friend about his Navy 3 month anniversary! (ill start new thread soon!)

Now back to this Chase e-mail offer.... SP, basically telling you please click button because we want to give you more credit line and you have not done it yet... it's killing me... I need a drink! and i don't drink!

Yes the account is close, but I already got the credit limit increase on my Marriott prior to closing the account and transfering the balance to my Freedom. But to humor you all, here's what it said:
