US Bank Preselector!

I just went to U.S. Bank's website and they now have a pre-selector similar to the ones Capital One and Citi have. https://www.usbank.com/credit-cards/index.html

Edited: I see this has been around for a couple of weeks now. I did not see on myFICO thread about it, however.

LOL, I remember trying this when my scores were low-600's and getting recommended for the Contour product. Now I'm around 800 and it's still the Contour card. Yeah I'll pass.

oh...that is good to know and I thought it was just me getting the Contour only...LOL

I just tried this for kicks. Only offered the contour card. Prepaid with a $4 monthly fee, pass.

Was just kidding but happy to see that the site actually works....so I know what to do until at least something else than the Contour comes up for me...LOL

It recommended the flexperks travel rewards, perks+ visa signature and the rei card. I clicked the "travel rewards" button for what I was interested in, not sure if that influences. Was curious to see if it would recommend the cash+. Oh well.

Compare to other preselection sites: citi, amex and cap1 never have any for me. Chase has slate and freedom at l2.99/13.99 respectively, creditcard.com has a bunch of BofA cards. I have really disparate scores (ex FICO is 702, eq is 797), so what I get offered really depends on who they pull.

It also only recommended the Contour card for me too. Definitely a pass.

For everyone that got offered the Contour card, are you opted out? I am, and I think that might be why.

I do not see anything on my CR that I opted out. Maybe I'm missing something cause when I try it on Chase I don't get any offers and a message saying I may have opted out with them. However I have no issues with trying it on cap1. On the US bank I request to show my best offers.

I do not have any US Bank products and have not ever. I got offers for the three cards I posted above.

Thanks...was not sure if all your cards are in your signature...nice to know. So it works and I will check end of 2014 what the result will be for me....
