Cap One's QS is probably the most popular General Cashback Card on the market right now... PNC also has a General Cashback Card but the rate of the cashback flux with the amount of spending you put through the card. Anywhere from 1.25 on the low end to 1.75% on the high. PNC is very conservative lender however, and you must be in their market and they typically like for the app to already have a banking relationship (not needed but its looked favorably upon). If approved they do give very nice starting CL's to make up for the hazing process.

Don't you need to have an account with Fidelity to qualify for the Amex? And even then, doesn't the 2% CB automatically get deposited into that account?

The Cash+ and Discover cards are 1% for general purchases, but this can be bumped to 1.25% if you redeem in the right way. For example, Discover offers $25 gift cards for $20.

The 1.25% is before category rewards, ShopDiscover, and so on, so I think these would effectively beat QS for most people.

Plus is there one CB card that optimal for Routing your monthly Auto Bill payments.....This is one reason why I chose the QS over all else even my Chase INK which includes Cable/Wireless Bills. I really Only want one card to capture all of my Auto Bill Payments. I push roughly 7/800$ worth of Auto bills a month through my QS.
