Not to be blunt, but it is sounding pretty desperate. If it helps, give the FICO CC forums (or any others you frequent) a break.

Its hard to want something when you can't have it. And I actually haven't been on here in a little bit since today.

FinStar is right. It sounds a bit desperate.

A friend of mine is somehow in the same situation. He just moved here a few months ago from Canada so he had to start his credit from scratch but he is a bit more patient. I have given him all the advice that I read on here about building credit, easy cards to get etc. and what not but in the end there is no magic remedy to waiting and he understands that. He recently got a Discover it though, which is a nice addition to a secured card he has with BOFA, but was deny for a Chase card.

Anyway, patience is key. In time, you'll get the cards that you want. March is not too far.

I wish Capital One would raise my limit above $500 on my Mastercard. Only Old Navy and TJX Rewards have given me auto credit increases.

Slow and steady wins the raise when it comes to establishing or rebuilding. When I opened my first secured card after wrecking my finances I thought it would be *forever* until things turned around. That was nearly 3 years ago and seems like the blink of an eye. I now have prime cards and am working on eliminating the last of my derog remarks by mid 2014. You will get there, just be patient and you will be rewarded over time.

Only you can make that decision. I dont have any frame of reference as to your situation so I can't say. What I have learned is not to apply for credit until I knew I was ready and that it was a product that would benefit me and my credit history.

Well, like others I don't know your situation, but presumably there was some reason why you planned to garden till March. The major reason for waiting even when eligible (and that doesn't mean you will get the card) is to possibly increase the initial credit limit, e.g. to avoid getting a $500 Freedom.

But, up to you. Intelligent creatures also know when to change a plan. And, in the grand scheme of things, going early probably doesn't matter all that much.

Kidding. And I totally understand how you feel. I "gardened" from 2005 until a few months ago. Not like I SHOULD have, but I waited to do anything with CCs or anything until my ex's junk fell off...

With gardening it betters your chances for sure... stay strong.. remember why exactly you started to garden in the first place.

You will beat this! What's another hobby you like? I love tennis and always read tennis articles and such. Sadly, shopping is also another.. lol I'm always on Amazon!

FinStar is right.. when I'm feverish to apply for something it's always best to step away from Fico Forums... I also have turned to daily credit monitoring... an extreme measure but it feels my need to see my credit improve/or not based on which balances report... Maybe you would enjoy that?

I wish you the best of luck as I know I regretted apping for a card in the past.. yes it helped my aaoa with backdated amex but i literally have used the card once and may only use it once before I close it when a year has been passed on it. You are stronger than your urge to app!

4 months isn't really enough time to let much grow (by looking at your profile), let alone give you the possibility of optimal results.
