I want to ditch debit entirely

Is there a card I can use at an ATM to withdraw from my linked bank account? I don't want a cash advance, I just want a card with better fraud protection.

I would love a credit card I can link to my account for free cash withdrawal. Right now I carry my CU debit card and have never used it.

I'm confused, if you have your CU Debit Card but don't use it then why do you need a different card?

An atm card may be the best option. I want a card that I can get cash with, not a debit card. I was thinking there might be a credit card I could link to my bank account for free. This doesn't seem to exist.

If you use a credit card to take money from an ATM, I think they will all count that as a cash advance (which it is!). Re ATM cards. You don't really need a special one, the difference between ATM and debit cards is just that debit cards can do transactions elsewhere. So, if you decide that you will only use your debit card at ATMs, you effectively have an ATM card (with additional flexibility in emergencies).

1. Discover's "cash over" feature allows you to get extra cash at supermarkets, and the cash is treated identically to a purchase.

2. You can use prepaid cards for ATM access, and control the balance pretty closely, and thus limit fraud risk.

I forgot about the discover cash over. I'm going to leave my debit cards at home ad figure I can either go to Walmart or wait until normal business hours for any cash beyond my normal carry amount of 80-100 bucks.

See if your bank offers just a card for the ATM. I have one for my savings through TD Bank.

I have two ATM cards, one for my BoA savings account, and one for my State Farm Bank Money Market account. I'm sure you can get an ATM card for one of your accounts.
