Not knowing the baddies it is hard to tell. Looks to me from your scores you should be able to get a decent card from Citi/Chase/BOA. You can also try National City which is little bit easier to get than the major cards.

Do you have any older accounts? Based on your figures, your average credit history is a little less than 10 months old. You might wish to get the baddies off your report, get CLI, and get more age on your accounts. If not, you could give WAMU a try.

Message Edited by FaircreditguyFL on 04-23-2008 04:33 PM

With those Scores I think if you want a major CL of 5000 or more you might have to sign

up with pen fed or nfcu is a better chance of getting a decent CL.

If so, they actually help your FICO. Even if they were reporting as CO, you would still receive credit for the history of the accounts. Paid installment loans are good for Fico, too. My question is why is your FICOs so low? No derogs at all? If I were you, i would join a LOCAL credit union who can serve your immediate needs. When your scores are stronger I would try a larger CU.... get rid of your starter cards.

I would say hold off on Citi with your EQ score. It should be mid to high 600's at least with them.

Citi is known for pulling EQ and they have diff standards for Biz cred and personal. I think it was concord that was at one point having trouble getting in with them personally and had a lot of Biz cred with them.
