Motiva is the easier one to get, but can't remember if they are bk friendly.

I don't know if they are BK friendly either, but I can say that they pull EX frequently.

Some here have gotten it if the BK is over 7 years old on a recon call.

I am pretty sure a BK is an instant decline though.

My husband and I just recently got the Discover More card and our BK was discharged in March of 07. We received a $2000 CL and I really like the card.

You may be able to get the actual Discover More card. We did. My husband's EX score at the time was 699, which is what they pulled. If you have decent scores, you may be surprised. I didn't think we would get it and we did. I am taking good care of that card too in hopes of it growing with us.

I read somewhere that this card can no longer be applied for.

The WalMart and Sams Discover cards are pretty easy to get though. However, they are issued by GEMB and are only Discover cards by virtue of being processed on the Discover network.

Yes, it shows on all 3 reports. We have done a lot to clean up our reports, but the BK remains. Our scores are pretty decent for only being 14 months out of BK. I decided we should go for it because we have been getting the preapprovals in the mail.

We haven't tried Amex. We have a Target Visa with a $1000 CL, a Washington Mutual Platinum Visa with a $4500 CL and now as of April 1st, the Discover More card with a $2000 CL. His scores as of April 1 were EX 699, TU 683 and EQ 647. My scores as of April 1 were EX 691, TU 659 and EQ 659.

TLM , Did you file a chapter 7 bk ? Because I wasn't able to get any good cards from good companies I have CapOne 1,000cl and Orchardbank 750cl and a regular Dillards department 1,350 and two installments, is it because I'm settling for less or too scared to apply for card outside the bk easy cards I tried Discover in 7/07 they pulled trans and they Denied due to Public records, too many collection filed, and lack of recent bank revolving info. I since had all baddies removed from trans including bk

bamagirl , I applied on-line recieved a wait 30 day email and a letter to call for additional questions and then recieved a denial letter in 30 days

I disputed and in return recieved a letter stating it was deleted on trans and eq . My experian bk still remain

wow it was taken off of 2?? was something incorrect with it? was it a ch 7?
