As others have stated it does not report. CW is part of a company that puts out 6 or 7 catalogs under different names (Dr Leonards, Healthy Living, etc) the credit is offered by Amerimark Premier and they give it pretty much to anyone who can breathe, they only report if you default.

In today's mail, I received a pre-approval for the CarolWright Gifts catalog for a $400 CL. The terms are extremely reasonable for people in certain parts of the US (5.75% APR for folks in AR) and fairly ho-hum for others (being in CA, my APR would be 22.5%, which is their highest APR).

The catalog definitely seems like something from another era (well, for the most part, but keep reading to see what I mean). The goods present might be what happened if Fingerhut and Haband ran a joint catalog. There's a lot of simple household items and some very plain clothing for women, as well as some "as seen on TV" type knick-knacks. However, there was a two page spread with "adult" goods that I found shocking (no, I'm far from prudish...just wasn't expecting adult toys in a catalog that sells knee-highs and moo-moos!).

Anyway, this seems to be an interesting offer for those looking to rebuild. I think the terms are more amenable than Fingerhut and I'd consider taking their offer if I was in a position where it made sense for me.

Adult toys?! I wouldn't expect that from CarolWright, either. Maybe they were old-fashioned household goods that somehow resemble modern sex toys. ;-)

if you do order anything from them, it might be good to add an oversized mail box, one order from that type of company will net you 20 more catalogs a month with simular pre-approved credit card offers, and twice that many during christmas, in 2012 I got at least a dozen simular catalogs a week, thankfully I didn't order so most of them didn't return this year.

For strictly rebuilding try the shopping cart trick, good tradelines, with only an AAoA hit, no HP's. Will grow slowly after 9 months of age, every 3-4 months with small or even no usage.
