How many Capital One accounts can you have?

Does anyone know how many Capital One credit card accounts can one person have? I have 2 credit card accounts now, and was offered to apply for another one. Just curious.

As far as I heard, you can only have a max of 2, but that excludes the co-branded/retail cards. So you can only have two of their "mainstream" cards, but any number after that of their cobranded/retail ones!

I asked there EO this last month and you can have as many as your income warrents ,I have 4 accounts from capital one

I had 2 -- 1 secured & 1 QS. Just closed my secured cc last night, still have the QS (good "catch all" card, so hoping to see it grow!).

I only have one. It was a Classic Platinum for years, got rewards added/AF removed last year. Last week it got PC'd to a Quicksilver.

What I didn't realize until last night is that they automatically upgraded it to a World Mastercard. Pretty neat, as I kinda wanted one and forgot to ask.

Wow, for some reason, I was always under the impression one could only have two.

Similar to lg8302ch, there's only two cards from them I find compelling--the Venture and Quicksilver. The latter is a great card, but I doubt I'd ever pay the fee on the former.

I have 2,

One was MTV Visa (that was discontinued) and the other was just upgraded to Quiksilver (1.5% cash back) based on their offer.

I am happy although I feel the itch to apply their Sony Card. Never mind. We'll see how 2014 holds on to.

They offer Visa cards as well.
