BOA CLI chances?

Brief history:

Opened a BankAmericard in Sept 2013 with an initial $3500 CL(later recon'ed to $10k pretty easily with a HP on TU)

I used it for $9000 or so worth of BTs. Since then, I've paid the balance down to about $6000, so utilization is 60%. Monthly payments have ranged from 100-1500.

Do you all think I'd be approved for a credit line increase? My sixth statement will cut at the end of this week. I would expect to ask for a cli post sixth statement.

I am fairly certain that they would pull TU for a cli on my account. I currently have 3 inqs on TU in the past year. My TU score is 700+ and util is 10-12%. Of seventeen cards, only three have reported balances: BOA, Discover IT, and CSP.

I guess that's enough background info LOL...

If I requested a CLI to $25,000, do you all think it would be approved?

I think you might get to $15-$20k

I think you would get it. BoA loves use (who doesnt) and doesn't mind balances. I was able to get CLI on my Cash Rewards card just before 6 months. $1500 to $5k (asked for $10k at the time). 6 months later asked for $15k got $10k where it's at today. I carried anywhere from 10 to 25% util on it.

I think you'll get something, maybe not the full amount.

I think you might get to $15-$20k

just request via your online and check back next day and if they dont' up it enough, THEN call in to an analyst to have a conversation.

No, I did it online and yes.. I check my credit reports daily and no HP. (It really was 2 days ago..)

Kenny how old was your account? I've heard of them giving SP after some time but not 6 months.

I've had this account since 2007 and just never really did a CLI on it.

No clue.. I didn't really pay attention, I just know that it was immediate. I knew it was time to ask for a CLI as I put it on my calendar to ask for one. (It was definitely a SP because I called in later to verify something else and they said yes that the CLI was a SP to 5.1k.)

Did it have the form where it asks you to enter a specific amount?

I used the luv button a couple days ago and it was a hard pull which I'm ok with so make sure you read up when you attempt. I still have not heard from them and the account is over two years old and have never had a CLI. My TU Fico is 814 and utility is 1%. Not sure what the deal is so I will probably call tomorrow or Friday. good Luck

Limit is $2500, asked for $10k. Expected a counter but got the 5-7 days message.

well sombetch. I'm going to see about making another $1500 payment, then I will ask after the lower balance reports. I have two 20K+ lines, and I've recently been reading how generous BOA is.

BOA has also been sending me BT checks.... one offer is for 0% til June 2015 with 3% fee and the other is 1.99% til Sept 2015! Wish I could use those offers. LOl I have no use for them haha.
