Does B of A transfer limits between cards ?

Just like the heading.

Do they transfer limits between cards ?....

I was thinking of transfering limit from my B of A Visa onto the Hawaiian Air card before Barclays takes the account on the 27th of feb.

Then asking B of A for a CLI in a month or two on the Visa.

This way I could have a high limit on the new Hawaiian Card from Barclys.

yes they do transfer CLs. It will be a HP however.

They will with an HP. Also, if you're looking to move the entire limit over and close the card, you will need to leave a $200 limit for it to close, according to a senior credit analyst I talked to.

Have you spoken to a CA and tried to CLI with a SP ? I would probably try that and since the account is going away they might be more willing to CLI with SP...after all the account is Barclays "problem" a couple of months later...not sure if this strategy could work...just my thoughts

Yes they do, the first time I did it it was a SP. But the second time they did a HP on it. -___-
