Well, Cap 1 made good on their promise to up my CL from $300 to $500. Oooh. Aaah. There was much rejoicing, but mostly because we ate Robin's minstrels.

However, they have not yet made good on their widely publicized promise to immediately start reporting CLs. I ain't holding my breath on it either. If you have a Cap 1, you need to max out your CC by cashing a convenience check, then PIF the balance a few days later. This will give you a high balance equal to your CL.

Just don't be late or go over-the-limit with crap 1, they will screw you royally!

I played that same game with charging up my account to its limit and then PIF. I have read that they are going to start reporting the CL at the end of this year.

By the way, congrats on getting the huge CL increase! I was declined for mine. I suppose they do not like me, because I am never late and always PIF. Who would want a responsible customer?
