How long does Walmart Discover upgrade offer last?

Just logged in to my Walmart CC account to find that I have the Discover upgrade offer. I intend to apply for a couple cards with more stringent requirements in a couple weeks and I don't want a new TL reporting before that happens. Does anyone have an idea how long I can let the offer sit without accepting it? Is it indefinite or will it disappear? It's not a huge deal if I lose it, but I wouldn't mind padding my file with an inquiry-free TL.

I have seen posts where people have accepted the upgrade and if it is not activated within 90 days it reverts back to the store card. I'm not sure though if you get the hit for new TL either way. It might be worth calling GECRB and asking. That would give you 90 days if they don't report the upgrade until you activate it. I'm just putting it out there hopefully someone else knows more.

Normally it is a pop up that appears when you log into your account. When I received mine it showed as a full page offer upon first logging in to my account.

I'm just starting my 16th month; my cl started at 700. And you could have been talking to anyone when you asked that the first time. Don't try and hold me responsible for your ambiguity.

Sorry for the late reply. To reply to both of you, I opened the account on March 1st of last year, so it was almost exactly at my 1 year anniversary that I got the offer. I currently have an $1100 balance on the card under a 2-year 0% APR promo. I've been carrying a balance on the card since November. The card was opened with a $400 CL. I received an auto-CLI to $900 in June, a luv-button CLI to $1600 in October, and another luv-button CLI to $2300 last month. When I logged in to account services, I was redirected to a full page giving the details of the offer. Now when I log in the page isn't there, but under the "Offers" menu, beneath "Special Offers," it now has a link for "Upgrade Card."

Thanks for the info! Was just looking for the timeframe so I know when I could possibly expect to see an upgrade on my account.

I received the upgrade offer several months ago and declined it. It now appears under the "Offers" tab under "Upgrade". I'm not sure if it will be retracted at some point in the future but as I said it's been there for the last few months now.

As for the answer,

It IS a new TL. Once you activate the Discover WM card, your WM store card is deactivated.
