I am going to be buying about $1500 worth of plane tickets here within the next few weeks. I have a local credit union with APR 6.65% and no fee on balance transfers, cash advances, etc. If I were to purchase the tickets on the AMEX to get the points, and then shortly after balance transfer the amount to the local credit union card, would I be able to keep the points?</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Just looking for some guidance.
