Amex bce question

Maybe someone can help? I just applied for the blue cash everyday by amex. I didn't get an instant approval but instead received " we will notify you once your application has been processed or if we need additional information". Is that a instant denial or a maybe I have it? My fico is 653 and I do have alot of inquiries.. Just want some feedback, thanks.

I did before the email came and the gentleman said to wait 3 to 5 days. You think I can call now?

I always app over the phone. It can be anoying but i feel like you can be frendly with the reps and they will do anything they can to get you approved. I was borderline for the PRG and I feel like the rep approved me not there scoring system. I will show them they made the right choice!.

Not sure what my real scores were, but I recieved the same message today and called into the backdoor number, and the analyst pushed my app through and approved me.

Give it a shot.

I have worked so hard on my credit but I still have some issues... My equifax is 653, transunion 640 and experian according to here is 663. I still have some collections that are old and that was a main reason but they said my balances were high which is untrue I'm at 7% utilization.

We'll my secured boa unsecured 2 weeks ago and they bumped me from 1300 to 5000 and today my lowes card cli to 5000! Someday I'll get my very own amex!

It's depressing I see people get approved for stuff and I have stuff haunting me! Oh we'll my boa was a great surprise and a huge milestone for me! I guess I thought I had a shot because of that... Ah hh reality someday lol

Oh Sorry, I thought for sure, especially when you posted congrat....Sounds like you are right there getting a BCE....Don't give up!.....I got approved with my EX 658 (EX is my worst) 1 unpaid Collection of $45.00 and a satisfied judgement.....0% utiliztion

Thank you! Ive been an authorized user on my husbands delta amex since November and he just put me on his chase united as an authorized user. I don't like piggybacking on my husbands cards but whatever might help me I'll do. When I started now 2012 I had no idea how shot my credit was.. I started at 522 fico.. So I've come along way in 15 months! I've never filed for bankruptcy or had a judgement but I do have a few collections which are just haunting me..
