Should I try for CLI now? Is it a HP or SP?

It will be a 99.9% HP. I've burned a HP after 3months and it was just flat out denied because it was too recent....they told me that they wanted to see more history...tried again after 6month mark, got the full asking $6k from $1k....YMMV

It will be a 99.9% HP. I've burned a HP after 3months and it was just flat out denied because it was too recent....they told me that they wanted to see more history...tried again after 6month mark, got the full asking $6k from $1k....YMMV

Sounds good. I'll probably wait. I'm wanting at least double my current CL ($5K)

it's HP but they have been SO good about giving CLI out lately, might be worth going for it now.

I would try myself but wonder if i could get a CLI at 3 weeks. Perfect payment history, 0% util on the card, never used

Seriously i heard nothing but pretty good feedback on BofA CLI's but at 3 months you can really expect HP for certain. However stranger things have happened for the better.

It doesn't hurt to ask them if you can qualify for a CLI with SP just to gauge it for yourself.

I did get an earlybird special CLI with Citi at 3 month point but cost a HP. Was worth the x3 raise though

It's a hard pull. You can try now if you feel comfortable, Personally I waited 6 months and requested CLI AND APR deduction at the same time.

Consider yourself already lucky... BoA Cash Rewards was my first real credit card and I started off with $600... It took me 4 CLI's to get to $5,000. lol.

What number do you all suggest we call for CLI? I assume it's not done online. They offered me a 0% BT for 15mos just recently that I might take advantage of if they'll bump me up from $2k to $10k. FICO's near the 700 mark.

866-811-4108 is the number in the sticky. In my case I've never tried prior to 6 months, but when I did (1 week shy of 6 months) I was at $2500 limit and requested $10k. They did not give instant decision, I logged in the next day and it was increased to $5k.
