WF Secured card graduation

I got a WF secured card 9 months ago for a $300 limit. It's been always PIF, till now and 90%Util every month.

Does any one has any info on when will this be graduated? Should I request for a graduation or is this automatic?

I think it differs by company. Cap 1 pretty much never does, BofA and US Bank do I believe, but I don't know about WF

BofA graduated me after 9 months. Waiting on this last card to be graduated!

My card graduated automatically in Nov 2013, exactly 12 months from when it opened with $400 limit. I was sent a letter approxmiatley 2 months before then congratulating me and saying my card will unsecure. My util was always low, never charged more than 20%. One of the things WF considers in unsecuring is how you use this card. A part of that is your utilization, to which 90% may be an issue even though you PIF. Nonetheless, you can call and see if you're eligible for graduation.

90% may sound bit odd, it's only like 290$ per month.

I have had mine since 2011 always PIF, perfect payments and nothing else.

Oh no, it is completely understandable. I just worry that the computer/algorithim won't distinguish 90% util on a $300 CL from 90% util on a $3,000 or 30,000 CL.

No, they said I oped out or I did not call and tell them I wanted to graduated when a letter was sent to me. I never got a letter, so how can I respond to something I never got? Why would you opt out and have to pay a AF and no rewards?!?!?

eagle2013....did WF keep your $400 CL or did they increase it when it became unsecured? Can I ask how many, if any, CLIs WF gave you so far?

Called up CSR, she said I either apply for new card or wait till May 2014 for a letter to see If I quilify....

I was told April and October. LOL.
