Converting amex card?!?!?

I currently have a delta gold amex with a 60k limit rarely use it maybe once a month. I was wondering if i am able to convert to a different product?? Thanks for your help everyone!!!

Yes, it is possible (Revolver to Revolver). Try chatting with them online and they can list the available products for you. I was able to find out for my Delta Gold, but didn't go through w/ it. What do you have in mind?

Yes, it is possible (Revolver to Revolver). Try chatting with them online and they can list the available products for you. I was able to find out for my Delta Gold, but didn't go through w/ it. What do you have in mind?

I was either thinking or blue or costco proably the blue cash though

the hubby is big on the delta reserve tho. im not a big fan of the 450 af.. is it soft for a conversion

If you had it for at least 12 mos, you could PC it. I called AMEX about PC'ing my Delta as well but was told that I have to wait a year to PC to a different card with higher a AF.

I had my Delta Gold since last November, and recently had a great conversation w/ AMEX online and they've offered me the list of available cards that I could PC my Delta Gold to...here's the thread:

Delta Gold is a revolver, not a charge so you can have a balance. AFAIK, You can't PC Charge to Revolver, must be charge to charge or revolver to revolver (but it could also depends on the product as well).

They said no? Try the chat feature and see if you get anything different! I was under the impression that i had to wait 12months before i can PC, but was surprised with the list given when i had that chat w/ the CSR...maybe you can PC to a different product if your account is under 12months but no signup bonuses? I should've asked when i was talking to the CSR

They said I could PC to a card with a lower AF than the Delta Gold. Anything with a higher AF I would have to wait 12 mos.

APPROVVEEDDDD!!!! I simply gave my info and said if there is an option to upgrade to the delta reserve sent it to me LOL. her response was "you will be receving your new card in 7-10 business days is there anything else i can help with" So excited this card will be great for the trip to italy...

Congrats Maria! Call them back and ask if the card can be expedited! I'm sure it might be already as it is Delta's premium card, but just to be sure. Also, were you given a PC signup bonus?

no i asked for the bonus and they said i dont qualify do no already having cards with amex
