nfcu question

Hi everyone! My husband and I both applied to NFCU last week on the 22nd I think when it was opened up to army, etc...we got a confirmation # but we didnt get an acct #? were we supposed to? or does that come w/packet in mail? bc we can't apply for anything until we have that? does anyone know?

also if we call do they give that info out over phone or is there something we have to fill out in packet..we haven't gotten that yet...

I submitted my application online, but you could try calling I suppose.

I would think with the recent opening to all branches of the military here recently that they would have been FLOODED with new applications for membership though, so it might take a week or two.

you'd app'd online? it gave you an account number? we just got a confirmation number? hmmm that's odd? did you get a packet that you had to complete and mail back or u did all online?

I still got the packet in the mail. I filled it out and sent it back in.

Bama, if you go to nfcu and where it says access number and a question mark, it should bring you to this page:

https://myaccounts.navyfcu.org/cgi-bin/ifsewwwc?FindMyAccessNumber

Fill in your info for each of you and it will give access number. You can then apply for product's. I clicked on the link that says to apply without online account access as of yet, since we have not received anything in the mail. (DH did receive the pin number yesterday for his cc he was approved for on the 24th)

Just got off phone with NFCU they provided my account number so I could push the funds from my bank without waiting on the packet.

Applied for credit product with just access #.

Can also fund account from local branch if you have one nearby.

not having so much luck.hahah..tried doing what stef said w/ssn, dob and last name..nothing it's like it didnt recognize us..so i decided to call spoke to someone who tried pulling it the same way, with mine and my husbands..then i gave her the confirmation# i got nothing came up..it was after 430 est so the membership office closed, she advised me to call back and speak to them and see if anything up, if not we may have to reapply..who knows..

Just reapply if they can't find you in the system.

I had my sis apply online...and she never got a response, after about a week. We tried the access number lookup and....nothing.

Called: they couldn't find her in the system. So, right there on the phone, she applied "again" and was approved, got her access # and her packet came shortly in the mail.

Just reapply: you'll get it. If they can't find you...it was just a glitch in the matrix.
