AMEX Charge Off

Had a charged off AMEX card back in 2011.

Just pulled my CR and I dont see it anymore i.e. not reporting.

Is this normal? and I am not complaining.

Which report? All three?

And are you sure the charge off, or rather, it's date of first report was in 2011?

I checked my Credit Report today and So far its not showing on TU or EQ.

EX I had to request for it via snail mail.

I checked it was on my TU and EQ on last years report.

Im not complaining. I just found it interesting.

There may have been a credit reporting error. Not everything is guaranteed to show up on your reports.

AMEX won't forget it though. They have internal records of your accounts and aren't likely to extend credit to someone that has burned them before. I have heard of some people getting back in with them by arranging to pay the debt off first... YMMV.

the debt was actually paid in full already after a month of the charge off.
