boauld, Right here on our my fico site, may be your answer! Way up top on the home screen, is a clickable banner heading. It has the links you are asking about. Look for get a credit card, or get a loan. Hope this is what you need, Good luck, my friend.

thanks for the help.... now i have another question....i have pretty good credit eq-711 ex-688 and tu-692. you think i would get pre approved for some credit cards but not one...i got 10% uilt. great payment history never missed one. inquiries are the only thing i have high....i refi my truck in dec. but thats it...

anyone know why they would not pre approve me?

it's a pre-approval, it doesn't hurt your credit to check. no need to ask if you will get pre-approved, just go do it and find out. let us know.

kinda thinking twice about it. i want to trash couple cards ex.applied card bank(cross country) n cap1 but im buying a house in the next 9 months. so i dont know what to do with me thinking about buying a house soon

okay just try one to get a gauge for if your credit is good or not.

Bank of America. If you get a decent pre-approval offer your chances of getting approved are VERY HIGH and they are VERY prime.

and your still far enough out before the home buy you can do a couple applications, and probably would be a bad idea to get 1 or 2 good cards and dumb 1 or 2 of your aweful cards(cross country)

okay correct me if im wrong, but did you just ask for pre-approval sites because you wanted to see if your qualified for any good credit cards. and now your asking if you should apply for a company that doesn't offer pre-approval?

I think you should go see what bank of america offers you if anything, THEN come back and fill us in and we can make more educated guesses who and what to apply for without wasting inq.

Have you pulled your fico credit reports to make sure they are accurate and get your score?

I would suggest doing that before applying for anything especially since you didn't get pre-approve from BofA

you should get approved with those scores.

Try Chase or Citi.

If you get declined, call back door and do recon.

If you are opted out of have a fraud alert on file, the pre-approvals won't work.

I would apply for the Visa Platinum Plus if you don't have any negatives on your reports. 8.5% interest rate no AF and BOA is very liberal with CLI's.

I wouldn't waste an inquiry with BofA if you don't get a pre-approval UNLESS you are on the opt-out like previous poster stated.

Have you requested a fraud alert be placed on your files? Sometimes the CRA's will place them on them if you have disputed anything as 'not mine'. It is suppose to cover them and you in case your identity has been stolen and to help stop other's from applying for credit in your name. You can always call them to make sure there isn't one.
