Pulled 61 day CLI too soon?

This is the response I got for 3xcli:

Thank you for your recent request for a credit limit increase. We're writing to let you know we're unable to approve your request at this time for the following reason(s):

Your account must be open for at least 60 days. My MSD is Feb. 1, 2014

Did I try a day too early?

Is this a Flat out denial?

Is this just a SP or no pull at all?

I just called AMEX and the lady says my MSD is Feb. 1, 2014 and it has been 60 days today. She also says it doesn't go by exact days, but it goes by months, even if Feb is a short month, it still counts as a full month....I guess I should just wait till tomorrow? Has anyone experienced Feb counting as a full month concerning 61 day CLI? I have a BCE with only a 1k limit, I'm trying to get it up to a usuable limit.

Yes, it seems like you're 1 day too soon. You can try again tomorrow, don't worry too much about it

Never heard of this before and I read multi boards... 61 days is 61 days and if Feb is only 28 that means you will have to wait some extra days in April...

I don't think it would matter if February had 48 days in it. Today is the 60th day from your MSD date of February 1st. So just try again tomorrow.

OP, I also pulled my CLI early for Delta Gold because I didn't account for the time zones difference. I just waited 24 hours and it went through.

Thanks for sharing your experience......do I have to wait 24 hrs. After my atempt? Or just when midnight strikes?

i was thinking of doing it at midnight too. but might as well just wait it out. kind of gun shy though because i dont want to be unable to do it for 90 days if i get declined....hmmm.

though if i do get declined, i will probably garden until january of next year, when all of my major lates fall off. will still have 2 30's and a 60 until 2016 though. thats when my reports will be optimal, and likely wont app for anything else in the mean tie, and probaby not even ask for CLI's.

hmm..i apped for my BCE around 830pm on 1/31/14. even on MDT it should have been 1030pm. but my date is still 2/1/14...
