I have had this account for a few months but have yet to use it. Does anyone know if you can link your PP debit card straight to the Smart Connect account? Bypass the paypal balance all together? We have an eBay buisness and have money coming and going from our PP account at all times, but would like to use the SC every once and a while to get it reporting and eventually a CLI or PC (if that ever happens).

I know you have to use the debit card and have the SC linked as the backup, but that only works if you have $0 in your PP account correct? Is there something I am missing, or am I really not going to be able to use it how I would like? lol.. I hope all this made sence..

just forget the debit card. use the smart connect as your defualt payment option when using paypal. So just buy something on ebay every once and a while. You can pay the bill with your pay pal balance if you like.

yes. If you set smartconnect as default payment you can use it everywhere they take mastercard when you use your pp debit

no problem! I hate the smart connect though if i was going to close one card it would be that one. It makes no sense why i wasnt approved for the ebay mastercard. Paypal would get more money from me cause i would use the card a lot more idc about the credit line.
