How long have you had the account? Have you ever requested a CLI?

I have not received any offers on either AMEX card . I've had them since Dec 2013, I did request the CLI and was declined. I have carried a balance on the True Earnings card because of the 0% promotional period and I do have 95% Util on my Slate card due to a balance transfer. I don't blame them with my recent util. Maybe in a few months I will be able to get a CLI.

I use to request CLI all the time, which went as high as 30K, but during the financial criss of 2008 Amex chased my CL down to 6.5K, then i requested a self-initiated CLD to 5K to keep Amex from chasing my CL's. So since late 2012 my CL remained at 5K, and over time Amex auto CLI me to 18K, now if I accept this offer I will be at 21.6K.

And to answer your 1st question, I opened my acct in 2006.

I never received an offer like this before, I do not know if I received this offer because my B-day is tomorrow , or do towards the fact I recently booked and paid for a miami vacation for my B-day. What ever it is, I sure plan on excepting the offer!!!

I removed the inivitation number, just to be safe.

And went back and removed the link to it, it had your name in it. Safet first!

3rd times the charm removing all the links.... sheez!!!!!

I got a offer to lower my APR to 6.99% for one year.

@I called Amex 1st to make sure the offer was legit, because @ 1st I was some what skeptical
