Generally, it is for a card with no AF that you do not want to use due to poor rewards or what not. If, coincidentally, you get a CLI, then that is just them saying 'Please use this card'&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It costs a CC company money to have you as a cardholder, and thus it makes sense for them to try to lure you into using the card more.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a CC that I put a monthly charge of $10 on, and they've started sending me BT checks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
