Cap1 Luv Button

I was wondering if anyone had any luck with the cli button? Because next month my QS card will be elegible for its 6 mos. CLI, so i was wondering is the button working, or would it be better to request over phone?

When I requested via luv button I was denied. Then went through EO, which they inquired if I had tried the luv button first. Was denied by EO as well, then logged in about 2 weeks after and there was an auto 6X CLI. Cap 1 seems to truly be YMMV but they do seem to be in a more giving mood lately. Good luck and remember CLI request with Cap 1 are all SP

Alright thanks, now how do i get the EO to contact me? I noticed people saying email them or FB them, but how do i know if im messaging the correct one on FB?

If i contact them through email or FB generally how fast do they call you?

Google Cap 1 EO email and send your request in very general terms to them. Do not include any personal info (ie SS# or acct#) but give them your contact info and they will usually contact you within 24-48 hours. They are only there on weekdays and they are on the west coast so adjust your time frame accordingly. They are very professional and easy to work with. Good luck and keep us up to date on your progress.

I hit the cli button in feb. on my platinum, because I never had a cli since my initial one and that was a year and a half ago. They gave me an additional 2k to 3300. I just wish the modify button would work for me to upgrade it to a QS.

Have you called to see if there is an upgrade available. If you have and the answer is no. Contact EO through Facebook or Google email for ceo capital one.

I would like to correct you here. Their executive office is in Virginia.

Just recently got approved for a $300CL with the Journey student card. Any harm in trying to get a CLI sometime soon, or perhaps after a month or two of good use? I'm fairly new to the credit scene and this is my first credit card. Thanks.

I hit the luv button tonight and recieved a message stating I would recieve mail within 10 days telling me there decision. I hope its good news. I have had the platinum card since around 2000 I beleive, had previous credit limit of 10k but once foreclosure hit it was reduced to 4850 in 2009 and has remained there ever since, despite never ever a single late payment. Only baddie is the foreclosure, Cap's TU fico is showing 689 on thier score tracker Any one else recieve denial with the to day letter? Is it a guaranteed denial since increase wasnt instant on web site?

I guess I just made an assumption since the lady that contacted me told me the times to cintact her on pacific time and she always called me after 7 pm my time (central time). Of course anyone can be anywhere with technology these days and still have to have a time,to,work from. Thanks for the info though.

Yeh I got contacted after 7pm as well. Weird as they would have people working as late. So..i assume they may have a West Coast office. I've went the EO route twice and once they were for sure on East Coast time. I called my contact back at 1pm pacific on a Friday (4pm eastern) and the lady said he was gone for the weekend so I left my name and numbe. To my surprise he called me back 15 minutes later and I thanked him for calling me back even though he was about to leave..so maybe I'm assuming too lol

I've been with Cap1 for almost 4 years BUT had a 30 day late mark about 15 months ago. Regardless, got a $500 CLI last month by clicking on the luv button. Go figure. I'm guessing it's case by case??

I just used the online love button and received an instant $2,000 CLI so it seems either way is fine to make your request.

As a former employee, I can assure you, the executive campus is in Tyson's Corner, VA, a posh enclave of Washington, DC just minutes from my home! It may also show up as the broader "Mclean" VA. However, seeing as they sold my job and those of my 3500 coworkers to India, I can assure you, the "EO" folks could be anywhere!!

Looks like even with higher util Cap1 luv button works. Just played around and got a 1K CLI with a 60% util on the card. ....yes it is 1K on a 10K card but hey it works that is what I wanted to find out Thanks Cap1 !
