Is this normal? American Delta Denied

Well i decided to apply for the American Express Delta card yesterday but was denied instantly. So I check the app status for reasons and i get the message below. Today I check my reports and they did not pull any of them??? I do not have any of my reports frozen and I currently already have their gold charge card which I have been perfect with payments on. I called them yesterday and they basically gave me the speech I was denied and I would receive the reasons in the mail. Anyone have this happen??

When you have a current AMEX card a denial is a SP an approval is a HP.

Perfect thanks...this was the answer I was looking for. They must have did a SP on Transunion which happens to be my lowest score due to them taking sooo long to update balances. Well off to the garden I go.

Yes you are correct I must have missed it. Im sure I was denied for too many inquries I have 10 on EX.
