I contacted the Chase EOs about a week back regarding converting my Slate to a Freedom card. I sent a very pleasant email stating my request and received a call back today letting me know what my account is eligible, my account has been PCd and I'd be receiving my card in a few days. Boom.

I have made two unsuccessful attemps via secure message to convert my Slate to a Freedom. Both times I was replied to by the same CSR. The first time, which was in January, he simply said I was not eligible. When I sent a message yesterday, he told me that products under 12 months old cannot be converted... However, my Slate is 24 months old! Just had a frustrating experience reading that odd, careless response.

I found the email address for the EO and a rep put my PC through!
