Total Rewards Visa 7-10 day message :-(

So I literally get the Total Rewards Visa pop up every time I log in. I almost always get the pre approvals for Comenity. I decided that I should be impulsive and apply, so I did.

I got the 7-10 day message:-( I've tried to ask Customer Service what the deal is and they don't know.

I HATE WAITING. I thought it would be an easy $10 or 15K approval. UGH

I found out today that they did a HP on EQ. :-( Comenity usually doesn't do hard pulls :-( I'm sad!

What should I do to find out the status more quickly?

I think the reason I got the 7-10 day message is because my address has changed recently. I replaced the incorrect pre filled address with my new, correct address- that seems a likely reason as to why it would not be an instant approval.

Bummer on the 7-10 man. Dont't know if you'll be able to find out earlier especially since it's a holiday weekend. I'm sure you'll get good news in the mail though!

Sometimes preapprovals will have language that states if anything on the preapproval has changed, the card provider will treat it as a new application (the preapproval goes away). Maybe that happened to your app.

+1, don't be surprised if you get an email sayiing that you're approved for $25k!

They hp me for this one too but 7-10 day notice isnt necessarily bad. I got it with vitacost and a few days later it was approved.

Comenity is strange; they hp me when I had the pop up for Total Rewards, but sp when I submit full app for vitacost. Anyway goodluck.

Their Customer Service is lackluster, but then again, they aren't really a bank.. they are more of a "shadow" bank I think.

Nothing has changed except my address. They soft me every time those pre approvals pop. my eq FICO stays in the 680-720 range. heh I'll just wait it out. I just LOVE instant approvals... nothing beats that feeling! haha

Did you try to register to see if they have an account set up for you? I got the 7-10 day too for the Vitacost full app after a pre-approved popup the month before which still turned out to be a SP.

Anyways, when I tried to see if an account was available -- it was for $7.5, just like B33i. Total Rewards is always a HP, just like the Fuel Network, regardless of pop up

The part where you can only redeem the rewards in one of their resorts or casino's seems too restrictive to me.

I have a Total Rewards account. I got it just to see if I would ge tthe pop up, which I did every time I logged in. I will go check and see if it has been added to my TR account.

I'm actually not a big gambler, but I'm looking to replace my Smile Generation card (7k+ limit also backed by Comenity).

Thanks! If it's less than 5k, ill prob just close it immediately.

Give it a day or 2 at least. The exact same thing happened with me and on day 3 I had an acct.

It's irritating, trust me I know, thats why I stay away from CU and US Bank

Yeah i almost went for an E350, but then i wanted AMG and then i needed new furniture, so i didnt get either lol. CLA is too....hmm, better just leave it at E class is the way to go
