I am hoping to app for the Discover IT in a couple of weeks after my RU updates. Right now my FICO on TU is 681 per Wally with 35% util and hopefully should be closer to 700 when my other cards update and should only have 5% util.

The issue is when I apped for Discover back in Nov 13 they pulled EQ and I really need them to pull TU. EQ has errors that I have not been able to resolve as of yet, of course there is always the potential to have the issues resolved by then, but I have no faith whatsoever in EQ to fix anything. I have frozen EQ in the mean time. Is it frowned on to freeze a report under these circumstances?

I was just wondering what the odds that Discover would pull TU might be. Any thoughts or experience would be appreciated.

I have seen several have success with asking Discover to pull TU with a frozen EQ. In fact, I plan to do the same because EQ has not fixed errors for me either. If it's not an instant approval, you will have to call in and ask them to pull TU. Good luck and keep us posted.

Like showing an account as 120 days past due in Jan 14 when the account has been paid and closed since June 2010?

Edit: I have disputed with EQ and with BOA, they both say that they are reporting correctly. I believe that BOA is reporting properly because EX and TU have it correct, but EQ can't seem to understand that you can't have an account 120 days past due when it's closed for 4 years. If I say anything else I know it will be inappropriate, so I better just let it go. It just seems like all of the remedies are slanted more towards the CRA than the consumer.

I have done all of the above and have NO issues with BOA, they have been great to work with and actually updated all of the reports back in February, which is where the issue started. EQ in their infinite wisdom showed a 120 late in Jan 2014 and needless to say that killed my score. I've tried talking, I've re-disputed and it is just becoming a nightmare. I have even looked into suing them, but it seems like it is more likely to get a favorable judgement against the US Govt than against a CRA.

Edit: Lexie I hope it doesn't seem like I am arguing with you.
