BofA cash re denied

I have BK 7 on my file, discharged 6/12. Have been making a pretty ok progress in my rebuilding stage. (1st card post discharge sony visa 12/12)

(USAA 663 663 611) (WALLY and CLAY 616 as of 4/10/14). total credit limit 6350.

I applied for IT card (regular) and was approved for 1600 (Not instant but didnt have to call in either) on 4/12, but on a lower term , which I didnt care anyhow. I was just happy to be back in the game sort to speak. I was stoked and gotta lil bit of my swagger back lol. So I apped for bofa's cash reward card on 4/18 to complete my portpolio b4 I go into the garden and got shot down bringing me back down to earth. but I was offered a fully secued card and chose not to accept it. So as far as I understand, this would be a denial. However, when checking the app status, it says more review needs to be done whatever.

Couple of things I would like to know,

1. I'm interested in their 99/500 program, rather than a fully secured route.

2. I heard someone mentuioning that u will only get the 99/500 program, If there is no BK on file.(mayb thats why I was only offered fully secured version?)

3. I'm just waiting for the letter to arrive so I can take it with me to my local bofa and ask for the 99/500,(if only i'm not approved in the end)

4. Is secured card even worth it at this stage of my rebuilding?

5. My IT card obviously have not reported yet, is this a good thing as far as looking to app for one more b4 I garden?

Any advice?
