NFCU Interest rate % reduction?

I just got the NFCU Cash rewards Visa in March - got 14.65% - when should I request a rate reduction? I have about $2k on a BT and plan to pay down in next 2-3 months. Thanks

I am not sure when a good time is, but it will most likely be a HP. NFCU is HP happy.

You'll more than likely have to wait 12 months...IME anyways per NFCU CSR.

You can request one once every 12 months on the anniversary of your card opening (or 12 months from the anniversary of a product change if you do one). They do not do a HP for it.
