Chase payment error?

I was trying to pay my Chase card before the statement date and got this message:

"We’re unable to complete your request

You cannot schedule a payment to this account because the amount due is zero and the account is not eligible for making additional payments. 51208"

Can I still pay them with my BoA online payment?

How weird. How do you normally pay? I've always paid all credit cards through my checking account online (previously BofA, now Ally).

That usually occurs if you have some pending purchases. You can wait till all your pending purchases post if you want to pay in full
