Amex Question

I know its probably a stupid question but Im curious. I was just recently approved for a second Amex, will I be able to connect it to my current Amex user ID or will I have to have a completely separate one for each card? I tried logging on and connecting it to my current but theres not option I can find (still dont have my card in yet), but I got an email telling me to open it with a new screen name. Thanks in advance.

Do you have the new card yet? Mine have always appeared under existing profile/sign-in after I called to activate the new card.

Yes, you can have multiple cards under one account, and if, once you get the card, you still have trouble, a rep can fix it for you.

The one thing to be aware of: if you are into the Amex special offers, if you add it to one card, you cannot then switch to the other card and try to add the same offer. For this reason, some people suggest keeping separate accounts. However, if you login, and open a tab for each card, then you can indeed add the same offer to each card, so there is really no drawback to one id.

I don't have the card in yet, so I'll just wait until I receive it before I do anything on my profile just yet. Thanks for letting me know I can do this, it'll make things easier for me having it all on one ID. I don't use the special offers very often so it wont be a big problem, but thanks for the heads up

I just got my 3rd AMEX (1 Corporate, 2 personal) and it showed up in my personal profile when I logged in the next day (How I found out my CL). Were you signed in to your account when you did the app?

Yeah I was signed in when I did the application but it never showed up in my profile... I wish it did, I didn't know my CL until I called in. I'll just have to be patient until I get my card, hopefully tomorrow

Log on when asked at first screen
Next enter new card and Cid which is not yet registered
Add a card pop up layer will appear
Accept and continue

Success! Thank you everyone for your help. After I connected my account I went to my mobile application and it's quite snazzy with the way it's setup. I love the way the cards are tabbed up top. Can't believe I have two Amex cards now, my rebuilding is almost done, now to get rid of credit one and garden
