Help! Freedom bonus and/or Amex 3x CLI?

Oh Chase! Why must you do this to me!

After getting the CSP, I've been eyeing the Freedom to use in conjuction with it. And the new increased $200 bonus is about to give me that extra push. But I seem to been in a pickle...

I've just opened my first CCs:

Chase Sapphire Preferred: approved April 19, 2014. 5k CL (CreditKarma TU: 700)

Amex Everyday: approved May 9, 2014. 5.5k CL (Experian: 732 - from Amex)

(AAoA: 5yrs, thanks to loans)

I initially was going to cease all action until the time came around till I could do the 3x CLI but with this bonus, I'm tempted to go for the Freedom.

So I guess my questions are: should I app for the Freedom? ... Do I even have a chance now with the 2 recent hard pulls?

And if I app'ed for the Freedom, would it greatly effect the chances of me getting the Amex 3x? (which I had planned to do in about 3 months)

Any advice would be appreciated!

Don't you just hate when lenders put offers like that in front of you? No obtaining another card will not make you ineligible for your 3x cli in 61 days. From what I've read, and I just got my amex as well, it's all about how you treat your amex. Though your inq. Play a role its also your whole credit profile that counts. I would app, your scores seem solid to be approved, and the csp and freedom combo is great! I plan on apping for the csp early next year!! Hope this helps!

Thank you for your advice! Yes, I plan on paying off my ED in full every month. I really want that 3x CLI! *crosses fingers*

I may take the plunge for the freedom.. I'm just nervous with all these new cards :x
