US Bank ? Only Forum Members Would Know

I want to make a payment today 5/31 but it is a Saturday.

I want my balance to read 0 when the account is updated for the CB and US bank is different than most what they report to CB is what bal is on the account at ME.

Because do Saturday the account won't be updated till Mon.

I called US bank to ask if I pay off balance today on Saturday what balance would be reported to CB at month end since they will not post my payment until Monday.

Do the forum members know if you pay on a Saturday will they reflect the payment when the account updates in a few days To the CB?

They will report whatever your balance is at the end of the day, the last day of the month (today).

I made a payment this morning and it updated to zero balance right away. However that was with my US Bank checking...not sure how it works if a payment is coming from another bank.

EDIT: If they indicated the payment will not post until Monday, the Saturday (today) balance will report. I had this happen last year when I paid my card through my CU via bill pay. Sorry...

I find that US Bank reports the statement balance, however, they take approximately 10 days to report the balance which can be a bit confusing if you are micromanaging your score.

In your case, if the payment is posted Monday, it will be included on Monday's date or Tuesday at the latest. Not quite positive which one.

For me, US Bank has always reported the balance on the last day of the month, not the statement balance.

I think its probably the balance on the last business day of the month, so weekends and holidays affect the actual date. I know weekends and holidays absolutely affect the statement dates.

Regardless, they definitely do not report the balance that is on your statement. Unless that just happens to be the same as what it was near the end of the month...
